Absorb-a-Bed
To keep the stalls of your Kevin Parker Horsebox hygienic and to cut down ammonia in the living area I recommend Absorb-a-Bed. Recently introduced to the UK market by Queens Award winning recycling company EnviroSystems, this product is up to10 times more absorbent than straw and easily 5 times more absorbent than shavings.
Absorb-a-Bed is manufactured from a waste fibre produced in paper recycling mills. EnviroSystems source and manufacture this from UK mills and over the last 5 years have perfected the process and marketed over 100,000 tonnes which in the past has been a major problem for disposal. The recycling process to produce Absorb-a-Bed involves mechanical pressing and heat treatment to achieve a high fibre and almost bone dry material. It is ideal for using neat on mats in stables and for horses on the move. It reduces ammonia in your horsebox and maintaining hygiene and cleanliness becomes so much easier.
For deep bedded stables it is the perfect compliment for straw or sawdust because you will increase the absorbency potential and so improve the lifespan of your favourite bedding. All this is rewarded by seeing your muck heap reduce by up to 50% and your bedding costs go down along with less time spent mucking out.
Such is my confidence; every Kevin Parker Horsebox comes with a complimentary 20kg bag of Absorb-a-Bed for you to try for yourself.
