Our philosophy has always been one of innovation and to incorporate the latest technology whilst keeping our reliability for each Helios horsebox. One example where we are leading the way again is our two panel full solar charging system now fitted as standard to the Helios range.
The system is maintenance free and the quality panels and charge regulator have been thoroughly tested over many years, This is not a token system to tick boxes but rather a large 2 panel system large enough to run all the LED lights on the Helios horsebox and keep the batteries topped up.
The panels are so efficient they charge even on the dullest of days, keeping the batteries topped up all year around. The solar controller features the latest PWM charge regulation for reliable and economical battery charge control including over charge protection.

Since the introduction of LED lights we have fitted low power LED lights to all our horseboxes. These use a fraction of power of conventional lights. They also benefit from long service life as there are no bulbs, just diodes.

We also fit low power consumption fridges and flat screen televisions. What this means to our customer is longer stays away at shows without having to start generators or plug in to the mains to charge auxillary batteries.

As a manufacturer we have a responsibility to the environment and to this end we use the latest VOC compliant paints. All our waste paint and thinners are registered for the VOC content and are collected for safe disposal.

All our chassis are Euro IV or higher for emissions and wherever possible low power appliances are used.
