At the design stage of the Helios we researched the fibreglass mouldings available on the market and found the quality extremely poor. For this reason we have invested heavily in moulds, paying particular attention to increasing strength, whilst remaining lightweight. Ease of fitting and the aerodynamics have all been taken into consideration and the outcome of this approach is that we have one of best designed and strongest fibreglass kits on the market today. Our Helios kit fits motor homes, horseboxes and motor sport boxes. The Helios fibreglass pod and fibreglass mouldings are manufactured to fit the DAF/LF range and we have incorporated a sleek design that is aerodynamic, very strong, yet lightweight. The smooth lines flow from the tilt luton down through the skirt to the moulded in rear lights. Key to our design is the fact that it is moulded to the cab shape, so it just drops into the correct position and fits perfectly every time. This makes the pod ideal for customers who want to build their own vehicle.
