We manufacture ramps for both new builds and conversions. These are made from the latest products and we have a proven design that is problem free. The outside face is smooth aluminium with no rivets or fixings showing. Horsebox ramp hinge pins are 16mm bright bar with grease nipples. We have used this hinge system for many years and from experience know that the most important part of the horsebox is the ramp. Especially the strength of the hinges as there are up to 6 tonnes of compression on each spring. Our horsebox ramps are nearly free maintenance with greasing needed only once a year. Often when dealing with conversions we have to build a new rear frame to fit a ramp, the way the original body is designed and built there is not enough strength to hinge a ramp. We do lots of repairs where this has not been done and it really is a false economy to miss this important stage.
