Horsebox Ramps

We build horsebox ramps for our 7.5 tonne horseboxes. These are made from 40 x 40 x 3mm box section steel, smooth faced on the outside, foam filled and lined on the interior side with 19mm phenolic film faced plywood. The horsebox ramp hinge pins are 16mm bright bar with grease nipples. We have used this hinge system for 25 years and from experience, know that the most important part of the horse/pony box is the ramp and especially the strength of the hinges as there are up to 6 tonnes of compression on each spring. Our horsebox ramps are light and apart from grease once a year, maintenance free.
